Fìkh Berě Iw (/ˈberɛ/ /iw/ [able; capable; competent; ready] [picture]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Fænætba Zone, Tuksksungziziqi District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Berě Iw is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Berě Iw was founded by Glen Zesmesê, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Berě Iw has a yearly average temperature of 32°C (89°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 37°C (98°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 28°C (82°F). Fìkh Berě Iw receives an average of 199 cm/y (78 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Fìkh Berě Iw covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 19156 m (19898 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Berě Iw was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1166, by Glen Zesmesê. The establishment of Fìkh Berě Iw was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Berě Iw's construction back out of the project. Glen Zesmesê pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Berě Iw was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Berě Iw was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Berě Iw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fìkh Berě Iw is buildings are arranged within a network of premissive cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Fìkh Berě Iw's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Fìkh Berě Iw's political statment focused walls are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look arround Fìkh Berě Iw reveals an abundance of schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

Civic Infrastructure

Fìkh Berě Iw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fìkh Berě Iw's natural decorations nor waterways.

Fìkh Berě Iw has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

There’s a relatively new religion in Fìkh Berě Iw which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.

Fìkh Berě Iw's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

Fìkh Berě Iw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via singing.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Fìkh Berě Iw was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fìkh Berě Iw lost 121 people, 152 livestock, and 65 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 114, when members of Fìkh Berě Iw's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific resource to a particular fortification unharmed. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Fìkh Berě Iw's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fìkh Berě Iw's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
